Position Overview:

Croell, Inc. is a privately-held regional construction company with over 100 multi-state locations. We are a major producer of concrete and asphalt road construction in the Midwest and are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and productive individual to join our operations as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for effectively assisting our company in invoicing, processing plant tickets and applying payments. This position would be based out of our corporate office in New Hampton, IA. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, a degree in accounting and strong proficiency to work with a wide array of software programs. Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Ticket processing, invoicing and applying payments
  • Strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to work with new computer software
  • PC proficiency (specifically Microsoft applications)
  • Knowledge of state sales tax
  • Strong communication skills with customer as well as employees
  • Meet deadlines and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Self-directed and motivated to exceed expectations
  • Company Redi-Mix training and additional training required
  • Be prompt and on time for work
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers and management
  • Additional duties assigned by management (Above list may not be all-inclusive)

Preferred Skills and Knowledge for Job:

  • AA degree or higher
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for details
  • Effective time management skills with a strong insistence to meet deadlines
  • Grasp new concepts quickly and have a strong comprehension of material
