Green Hills Retirement Community, an upscale retirement community, is currently seeking applicants looking for a rewarding experience to fill a full-time Home Health Aide position.  Hours are available on 1st & 2nd shift. 

This position assists with the personal care of tenants and administration of medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse; provides care as assigned by the charge nurse and does appropriate charting on each resident to create a flow of continuing care; follows safety procedures and keeps the charge nurse informed of all relevant resident information through close observation.

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program and registration with State registry is required.  Previous experience in health care and geriatric care strongly desired.

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. Computer skills are necessary. Microsoft Office experience is preferred.  Must possess a valid chauffer’s license within 30 days of employment.
