The Installer Level 4 (New Construction) position is responsible for the installation of heating and air conditioning systems that meet company standards.

Installer Level 4 key responsibilities:

  • Installation of heating and air conditioning systems to company standards,
  • Working efficiently to meet daily work schedules
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge
  • Excellent customer service
  • Maintaining professionalism
  • Organization of vehicles/ work areas and safe work habits
  • Providing the customer with a high quality experience.

Quality of Work

  • Performs high quality service and repair work that meets Company quality standards
  • Correctly identifies and diagnoses the root cause of product/ equipment issues and how to resolve the problems
  • Accurately follows repair or install instructions on work orders

Work Schedules

  • Completes all assigned tasks according to work order estimates and their daily work schedule
  • Identifies the most efficient way to safely complete their scheduled assignments
  • Displays reliable attendance and schedules time-off with advance notice

Customer Service

  • Cross trained to skillfully repair and install a wide variety of products/ equipment from multiple brands
  • Maintains a positive and friendly attitude towards all of our customers
  • Handles difficult situations calmly and with confidence
  • Complete customer reviews, call backs, and educate the customer on the value of our maintenance agreement program.

Regulations & Safety

  • Always correctly uses the proper personal protective equipment
  • Maintains safe work habits and performs required safety inspections according to Company safety standards and procedures
  • Aware of their surroundings and avoids potential hazards or dangerous situations
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a driver score greater than 75

Organization & Documentation

  • Maintains a clean work area and promptly removes scrap materials
  • Organizes all tools, parts, supplies and equipment so everything is easily accessible
  • Correctly enters identifying work order information with the associated completed service or repairs

Process Improvements

  • Identifies and suggests ways for the Company to improve the efficiency and quality of service processes
  • Effectively assists with implementing and supporting improvements to service processes

Training & Development

  • Completes all core classes and certifications relevant to position
  • Displays a good working knowledge of common material and tool terminology and use
  • Effectively supervise and train apprentices as assigned

  • Does not cut corners or take shortcuts; completes the job right the first time

Educational and experience requirements include:

    • Must have all Installer Levels 1-3 qualifications
    • Level 4 tool list
    • Able to fabricate complex sheet metal transitions
    • Able to install every aspect of a simple furnace/AC installation
    • Effective communication with other departments: ex. sales team
    • SAVE Certified*
    • Able and willing to Train Level 2 installers
    • Run a job without supervision
    • Fill out paperwork in a neat, accurate, complete manner
    • Able to install zone system
    • Journeyman license*
