General Position Summary:
This Job is a beginner to intermediate level of a Tooling Preparation Operator. This person must be able to work carefully and have a high attention to detail. This person will work with multiple molds, fixtures, tools and their components. The Production Tooling Preparation Operator will work with their hands and stand, using hand tools to maintain molds fixtures and other tooling for production use. This person will need to be able to communicate with other Technicians and Engineers any concerns or issues that they see in order to keep making parts off the tools at a high quality.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to precarious places and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate requiring hearing protection in certain areas. PPE is provided by AIM based on the employee’s position and exposure.
